X-Generals Makes History at 2016 Long Beach International Dragon Boat Festival

Another "Big Long Beach" dragon boat festival is in the books. Thanks to SCDBC, all the organizers, volunteers, and teams that made it another thrilling tournament. The competition was fierce, but X-Generals still managed to make a bit of history.

Highlights for our team included a SILVER medal finish for X-Generals' FIRST E.V.E.R. Masters boat (paddlers must be 40+ years young), appropriately named "Teen Titans." Another history making turn came when X-Generals "X-men" boat rose to the occasion and captured GOLD in their division. To round out the hardware trifecta, our "Supermen" boat took home BRONZE in its respective Open division.
